Obstacles Of Marketing Vegetables And Fruits In Najran

Agricultural marketing is one of the main elements of the whole agricultural process, which means the transfer of the agricultural product to the consumer in the best condition with appropriate prices in the place of production. In this vein, this paper aims to identify the main obstacles that encounter marketing vegetables and fruits as an attempt to meet the growing demands of the markets of Saudi Arabia and the Arab markets in order to increase the return of farms of foreign currencies and promote agricultural production. The study followed descriptive approach, using primary and secondary data to collect the required data.  It was found that there are many obstacles that encountered marking of vegetables and fruits in Najran. In spite of the potential of Najran region, its production is limited in comparison with others regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study concluded with recommendations that are expected to improve the situation of marketing vegetables and fruits.
